2013- The Year of the Snake :)

Hello!

I finally did my nails for celebrating the New Year!

And as I heard that 2013 will be the year of the Snake- here are my nails ->

I have painted that snake on tips some weeks ago, only this time I used silver acrylic paint and not gold as it is on the tips ->

I wanted to make my nails silver and black so that they can suit my new bracelet I have from my boy <3 ->

I used the Transfer technique for the decoration on my right hand- obviously I`m not so good with the left hand painting lol.

I applied a layer of Brooklin 02 on the other nails and french on the "Snake nails". Over the black I stamped a snake skin using Bundle Monster BM-215 stamping plate and silver polish.

And that`s all.

I covered with a coat of Seche Vite top coat.

This time I`ll show you another colour of the Snake Skin waterdecal decoration ->

I made this on my mother`s natural nails.

For the base coat I used Sally Hansen 330- Pedal to the Metal -> grey- purple metallic polish, applied in two coats

Back to the decoration of my mom`s mani. As I said I used waterdecals for the whole nail (the bigger two of them)

And covered the decals with a Seche Vite top coat.

The second decoration with waterdecals is on my hands.

The polsih I used here is from Orly- 'Bailamos', applied in two coats ->

After I polished all my nails and let them dry, I cut the waterdecals for a whole nail to fit around the cuticle area and placed them on my middle and index nails ->

I used the smallest ones.

And then covered all nails with a coat of Seche vite top coat.

I love using waterdecals! It`s soooo fun! Especially those for the whole nails- they look gorgeous! :)

Snake skin

A different design of what I usually make, but I tried to do it and people liked it a lot!

I used two polishes of my favourite brand- Catrice. I used them and for the stamped design of snake skin only opposite the base polish. Here they are: 'Sir! Yes, Sir!' and 'Khaki Perry' (2 coats of both)

The more pictures the more good idea of the polishes, right? lol

And finally, I used this Boundle Monster BM215 stamping plate to make the snake skin- look like ->

(It`s blue because I didn`t take off the plastic before I take the photo.) I love BM stamping plates! They are as much good as Konad are!
